END LANE is the final act of Convergent Lines. Or at least… the one we’ve allowed to surface for now.
It is not a closure. It’s more that point where you realize you’re still moving… but no longer know toward what.
The piece begins like this – quite dry. Cut. As if everything had already passed, and you were only arriving a moment later.
The video does not tell anything in a classical sense. Things happen, yes – but as if they refuse to be fully grasped. Bodies, light, space… they are there, but never entirely available.
In END LANE, movement does not serve to progress. It serves to consume itself.
There is a constant feeling that everything arrives slightly out of time, like when you understand something a second after it has already happened.
We released it early because it made sense that way. Like a fragment escaping the work before the work is finished.
It does not close CL. It does not explain it. It does not prepare it.
It stays there.
END LANE is that final stretch where you realize there is nothing left to reach – and you keep going anyway.
