THE SOUNDS OF SILENCE – Sue Park, 2023

Sounds of silence – Solo exhibition by Sue Park – Palazzo del Duca, Senigallia IT, 12/2022 | 06/2023

«I met Sue Park in 2019, in Los Angeles, during Landscapes. East Meets West at the Shatto Gallery.
Even before the work, what struck me was the person. And in her images, that comes through completely.
Sue does not construct. She does not force.
She looks – and lets things happen.
Her photographs do not ask for explanation.
They require no key to be read, there is no distance to bridge.
If you stop, you are already inside.
For her, nature is not a subject but a direction.
A way of searching for something that does not need to be named in order to exist.
And something simple happens, but rare:
you are no longer looking at a photograph.
You are there, just outside the frame, in silence – waiting with her».

Her work has received international recognition, including the International Photo Awards in New York, awarded for Sue Park Photography (2019) and Monovision (2021).

ES-SENZA – Giovanni Gennari, The Bid Art Space, 2021

A commemorative solo exhibition of photographer Giovanni Gennari and presentation of the book ES-SENZA
With the patronage of the Marche Region, the Municipality of Pesaro, and the Municipality of Cagli

Writing about Giovanni Gennari is beyond my ability.
His work is too vast, too alive to be contained.

Our friendship began in the early days of The BID.
Giovanni was there. He observed.
And when he spoke, he did so without filters, with a rare honesty — always necessary.

I still remember when I asked him to exhibit.
His answer was simple:
“What should I bring?”

Then he arrived with a new intuition.
A territory he was just beginning to explore.
What I saw was not just photography — it was a vision.
A synthesis of worlds, capable of holding together East and West without shortcuts.

From that moment on, Giovanni became part of The BID.
He had the keys to the door – and, in some way, to my thoughts.

One regret remains.
A project of ours, never realized.

Goodbye, my friend.
Wait for me – with one of your ideas.

CONVERGENT LINES – a work in progress between writing, sound and stage, 2026

Work in progress
Writing, music, image, stage

Convergent Lines was born from writing.
Then it expands: music, image, stage.

It’s not theater. Not entirely.
It’s a space where languages come together without becoming one.

It doesn’t tell a linear story.
It moves through frames, through ages, through passages.

The word guides.
Sound moves.
The image sometimes holds, sometimes opens.

It’s a work on thresholds:
between inside and outside, between control and loss.

It’s still under construction.
The people who enter bring their own language. They aren’t adapted.

Debut: September 19, 2016 – Teatro Comunale di Cagli, PU

END LANE – lyrics & videoclip, 2025

END LANE
The final stretch is not an arrival

END LANE is the final act of Convergent Lines.
Or at least… the one we’ve allowed to surface for now.

It is not a closure.
It’s more that point where you realize you’re still moving… but no longer know toward what.

The piece begins like this – quite dry.
Cut.
As if everything had already passed, and you were only arriving a moment later.

The video does not tell anything in a classical sense.
Things happen, yes – but as if they refuse to be fully grasped.
Bodies, light, space… they are there, but never entirely available.

In END LANE, movement does not serve to progress.
It serves to consume itself.

There is a constant feeling that everything arrives slightly out of time,
like when you understand something a second after it has already happened.

We released it early because it made sense that way.
Like a fragment escaping the work before the work is finished.

It does not close CL.
It does not explain it.
It does not prepare it.

It stays there.

END LANE is that final stretch where you realize there is nothing left to reach –
and you keep going anyway.
